BMX and Skateboarding Competition Coming to Venice
Skaters and riders will be performing tricks off of quarter-pipes and massive ramps.
Some of the world’s best skateboarders and BMX riders will be competing at the Sony Big Air Triples in Venice on Sept. 22.
The contest will place participants in head-to-head matches that showcase versatility and innovation. The course will include a 26-foot roll-in ramp, two 25-foot jumps and a 14-foot quarter pipe.
"The Big Air Triples course is one of my favorite ramps to ride,” said 22-time X Games medalist Andy MacDonald in a statement. “It's going to be awesome having that massive ramp set up right on the beach in Venice where everyone can experience this new style of riding."
