'Dog Day Afternoon' Returns to The Lincoln
Dog Day is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 25.

From The Lincoln:
The Lincoln’s monthly event, “Dog Day Afternoon,” welcomes dogs to the iconic Venice watering hole, which opened in the spring. This event features a visit from puppies up for adoption from Designer Dog Rescue, with support from No Kill LA (NKLA, an initiative of Best Friends Animal Society. All guests are invited to bring their pooches to the patio. In order to make guests’ dogs feel right at home on a lazy midsummer afternoon and evening, the bar will offer dog treats, water bowls, toys and mixing and mingling in canine camaraderie. In order to make guests feel at home, The Lincoln offers Dog Day Afternoon drinks specials all day, an opportunity to support Best Friends, as well as 100 percent all beef hot dogs!
Featured cocktails include Bark at the Moon (Gin, Punt e Mes, Amaretto, Mandarin, Lemon, and Egg), The Hound of the Baskervilles (Vodka, Chartreuse, Grapefruit and Smoked Salt) and The Mystery Machine (Rum, Fernet, Lemon, Pineapple and Mole)—all at $10--and a Rosé flight for $12. In addition, all cash donations for the charities will be matched by the bar.
