The Day of the Living Festival is a four-day event that discusses suicide through performing art.
Mike Stutz, the originator of the festival, hopes to bring to light the taboo subject with the use of dancers, actors and clowns.
“Don’t want to talk about suicide? Let’s dance about it. Let’s sing about it. Let’s tell jokes about it. Nothing is off limits, except silence. It’s not about how you die, it’s about how you live,” Stutz said in a statement.
