Free E-Waste Recycling This Friday at Venice Farmer's Market

The Electronic Recycling Solutions Truck will be onsite at the Venice Farmer's Market, from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. on the first Friday of every month.

The Electronic Recycling Solutions Truck will be onsite at the Venice Farmer's Market, from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. this Friday Aug. 3 (and the first Friday of every month) at  500 N. Venice Blvd.

The program has been initiated by the Venice Neighborhood Council, and its Environmental Committee. The Venice Neighborhood Council will bring the E-Waste truck to the Farmer’s Market regularly, depending on the needs of the Venice Community.

  • Each person generates an average of 12 pounds of E-Waste per year.
  • Only 15 percent of that E-Waste gets recycled.
  • Seventy percent of people stockpile unwanted electronics in their garage. The rest ends up in landfills taking up space and leaching toxic chemicals into the groundwater.

Electronic Recycling Solutions is a Collector of E-waste approved by the California Integrated Waste Management Board and disposes of E-waste in a manner that protects the environment.
