VENICE, CA — A power outage in Venice affected 2,050 customers Friday, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The outage was reported at around 12 p.m. in the area of Electric Court between Venice Boulevard and California Avenue. A crew was en route to the area as of 12:30 p.m.

It was not immediately known what triggered the outage.

LADWP estimated that customers could expect to see their power back by 4 p.m.
