Oakberry Opens Flagship Açaí Store In Venice Beach
The first 300 people to visit the store on opening day will be able to enjoy a 12-ounce açaí bowl free of charge.

VENICE, CA — The first time açaí brand Oakberry founder Georgios Frangulis got the idea to create his business he was in Venice Beach. Six years later, a new location is set to open in the area this week.
Oakberry's newest store in Venice Beach is located at 1432 S. Abbot Kinney Blvd. and is the first of more than a dozen planned store openings in the United States. In celebration of the new store's opening, the first 300 guests who visit on April 13 will receive a free 12-ounce açaí bowl no purchase necessary.
"The first time I had the idea to create OAKBERRY, I was in Venice Beach and since then, açaí has grown rapidly in popularity and we've opened 600 locations," Frangulis said. "To be back here six years later on the very street where OAKBERRY was conceived – opening a storefront and serving the community our delicious bowls and smoothies – is an incredibly special moment."
