Venice Family Clinic Has Given Nearly 15K Vaccine Doses

Venice Family Clinic has administered nearly 15,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, the community health clinic announced.

VENICE, CA — Venice Family Clinic has administered nearly 15,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and needs volunteers to help out, the community health clinic announced.

"As of July 3, Venice Family Clinic has administered 14,482 vaccines," according to the clinic. "Thank you to all staff and volunteers who have stepped up to make this happen."

Venice Family Clinic continues to provide three vaccines. They are free and available for both patients and non-patients:

  • Pfizer – age 12 and older
  • Moderna – age 18 and older
  • Johnson & Johnson – age 18 and older

"We continue to hold vaccine clinics across our sites at Rose, Simms and Colen and also at community events in Mar Vista, Inglewood and Hawthorne," organizers said.

Anyone who hasn't gotten a vaccine yet or anyone who wants one can visit myturn.ca.gov to schedule an appointment. If you do not have access to a computer or need help, you can call (833) 540-0473 between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The clinic also needs volunteers to help at COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Santa Monica, Mar Vista, Venice and Carson High School pop-up. Volunteers will greet patients and help in waiting and observation areas. Bilingual volunteers are a plus, the organization said.
