5 Injured In Walnut Creek Crash Involving 4 Vehicles: Con Fire
The cause appeared to be a vehicle exiting the highway too fast for the weather, Con Fire said.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Five people were hospitalized with injuries suffered in a four-vehicle crash Thursday at a Walnut Creek intersection, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said.
A county bus was among the four vehicles involved in the collision reported shortly before 4 p.m. during rainy conditions at Ygnacio Valley Road and Oakland Boulevard, just east of Interstate 680, according to Con Fire.
Five patients were transported to hospitals: one with critical injuries, one with moderate injuries, and three with minor injuries, Con Fire said.

Ten people on the county bus were evaluated for injuries.
