Antioch Suspects Had Drugs, Cash, Stolen Handgun According To Police

A 51-year-old Antioch man and his 22-year-old son were arrested Thursday morning after a special County anti-violence team raided their home

ANTIOCH - A 51-year-old Antioch man and his 22-year-old son were arrested Thursday morning after a special County anti-violence team raided their home and found assorted drugs, cash and at least one stolen handgun.

According to information provided by the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office, police raided the home of Harold Mckneely and his son, Emetrik Mckneely, on the 2800 block of Gentrytown Drive in Antioch and found three handguns, approximately two pounds of marijuana, Xanax pills, cash and other contraband.

The CASE (Contra Costa County Anti-Violence Support Effort) team made the arrests two after what the sheriff's office calls "an investigation into illegal activities."

Both men were booked into the County Jail in Martinez on various charges including felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition; illegal transfer of a firearm; possession of marijuana; and possession of stolen property.

Police say Harold Mckneely is being held in lieu of $390,000 bail. Emetrik Mckneely’s bail is set at $350,000.

The CASE Team is a joint effort by the Office of the Sheriff, California Department of Justice, California Highway Patrol, Pittsburg Police Department and Walnut Creek Police Department.
