Fire Contained At Walnut Creek Restaurant
The blaze broke out in the 1500 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Firefighters with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a restaurant fire Wednesday afternoon in Walnut Creek.
The blaze was in the 1500 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard, between N. California Boulevard and Broadway, the Walnut Creek Police Department said shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Crews were dispatched at 1:37 p.m. to 1521 Mt. Diablo Blvd., according to the PulsePoint app.

The address is that of the Bounty Hunter restaurant.
The first crew was on scene within 3 minutes and reported smoke coming from the roof, Con Fire Spokesperson Lauren Ono told Patch.

The fire was contained by 2:07 p.m. to the wood-burning stove flue — chimney — and no injuries were reported.
Crews remained at the scene of the commercial structure fire until 3:15 p.m., Ono said.
The agency's fire investigation unit was still looking into the cause of the blaze.
