Hoverboarding Suspect Leaves No Footprints
Danville Police confirm they received a call regarding a 'suspicious subject' checking out neighborhood houses while riding a hoverboard.

DANVILLE - If someone sipping brandy in Danville looked out their window last night, they might have sworn - under heavy breath - that Marty McFly just zipped past.
Danville Police confirmed today they received a call Thursday evening from a resident regarding a suspicious subject - riding around on a hoverboard - checking out houses in a Danville neighborhood.

“As you probably already know, we’ve been hit pretty hard with property crime in the last few months,” Danville Police Chief Steve Simpkins told Patch, “so I think the focus from the caller (was) on the ’checking out houses in the area’ as opposed to the mode of travel!”
Police say they will continue to stay diligent in the area, but a lack of traceable footprints leaves little information about the suspect’s shoe size.
