Motorcyclist Found Dead After Early-Morning Crash On Vasco Road

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Traffic on Vasco Road has reopened following a fatal motorcycle crash early this morning.

The crash happened shortly after 5 a.m. on southbound Vasco Road just north of Dyer Road, near the Contra Costa–Alameda county line, according to reports.

Paramedics conducted a roughly 30-minute search for the motorcyclist, who was initially unaccounted for, according to reports. The rider was located at about 5:33 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.

All lanes were closed during the investigation and reopened around 6:35 a.m.
