Northgate High Snags League Titles in Water Polo, Cross Country
The boys water polo team wins DVAL championship while girls cross country squad finishes first in league championship

Northgate High's boys water polo team and girls cross country squad grabbed league titles this weekend.
The Broncos' boys water polo team won the Diablo Valley Athletic League title on Saturday with an 11-9 win over Clayton Valley Charter High, according to the Contra Costa Times.
The contest was tied 5-5 at halftime. Northgate was led by four goals by Brayden Levy.
The Broncos' girls cross country team captured the DVAL championship on Saturday at Castle Rock Park, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Northgate had the low score of 32 to win the title. Clayton Valley Charter came in second with 46 points.
Team Captain Caitlyn Mundrane was the top finisher for the Broncos, coming in second with a time of 22:20 over the 3.3-mile course. Junior Megan Coyle was right behind with a time of 22:21.
On Thursday, the Northgate girls volleyball team wrapped up the DVAL title by finishing with a 12-0 record in regular season matches.
They will be the number one seed in the DVAL championships, which begin on Nov. 12.
