• Renowned San Francisco chef indicted for allegedly trying to rob 3 banks in a day (kcra.com) — Walnut Creek readers may remember Ottavio, whose former owner and chef has now been federally indicted in connection with a series of alleged San Francisco bank robberies. Prosecutors say the once-prominent Bay Area chef, long struggling after Ottavio’s 2016 closure and bankruptcy, faces bank robbery and attempted robbery charges and is due back in court next month.
