Walnut Housing Project Faces Local Push Back: Report
A proposed housing project at the Royal Vista Golf Club is facing resistance from residents, according to San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

WALNUT, CA — Residents say a proposed housing project at the Royal Vista Golf Club in Walnut would negatively impact life in the area, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.
The housing project would involve the construction of 249 single-family homes and 72 townhomes in a portion of the golf course bordering Rowland Heights, the Valley Tribune reported. Residents in the surrounding area argue the project would lead to crowded classrooms, heavier traffic and a reduction in open space.
The housing project would also lead to the devastation of local wildlife, they told the paper.
