Woman's Acura Allegedly Carjacked From Walnut Creek Apartment

Two men allegedly carjacked a Walnut Creek woman's Acura Tuesday night after she parked the car in her apartment building parking lot.

WALNUT CREEK - Two men allegedly carjacked a Walnut Creek woman's Acura Tuesday night after she parked the car in her apartment building parking lot.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office says about 6:45 p.m., the two suspects confronted the woman in the 1400 block of Treat Boulevard after she got out of the car. They demanded her keys, and one said he had a knife.

Officers believe there was a struggle over the keys, and the woman was struck and pepper-sprayed by one of the men.

Police say the two suspects jumped into the Acura and fled in an unknown direction. A search by deputies for the vehicle and suspects was unsuccessful.
