5 Treated For Injuries In Monterey County Crash

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — Cal Fire crews treated five people, including three children, for injuries following a two-vehicle collision in unincorporated Monterey County on Monday evening. Crews arrived at the scene at 5:23 p.m. involving a mid-size minivan and a semi-truck near the intersections of Arroyo Seco and Thorne roads.

One adult and a child were airlifted to a hospital and three more people -- two children and one adult -- were transported for treatment via ambulance. More details about the collision were not immediately available.
