• PG&E customers lost nearly $300K to scammers in 2025 (kingcityrustler.com) — PG&E reports that Central Coast customers, including many in Watsonville, have faced nearly 600 scam attempts this year, with losses approaching $300,000. Residents are urged to “Slow Down, Verify and Stop the Scam” by hanging up on suspicious calls, checking accounts directly at pge.com, and reporting incidents to PG&E, law enforcement, and the FTC.
