The Watsonville Police Department will be joining thousands of law enforcement agencies across the nation for this year’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back campaign.

Get rid of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will also be accepting vape pens and e-cigarettes but batteries will need to be removed before disposal.
Community members will be able to bring their medications for disposal to the police department at 215 Union Street. The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked. No hypodermic syringes will be accepted.

During last year’s nationwide campaign, 324 tons of prescription drugs were collected at more than 5,600 sites.
