CDC recommends everyone ages 5 and up get COVID-19 vaccine.

The CDC is now recommending everyone ages 5 and older get a COVID-19 vaccine to help protect against the virus.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend a virtual meeting next week where they’ll have the opportunity to speak to a doctor about COVID-19 vaccines for kids 5-11 years old.

The Tuesday, November 9 meeting is being organized by the Santa Cruz County Health Department and several other local agencies.
