Dense Fog Wednesday Morning In Santa Cruz County
Also: Officials report air quality is improving.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The National Weather Service reported dense fog had settled over the Central Coast Wednesday morning.
A fairly deep, 1,500-foot marine layer brought low clouds and the possibility of a drizzle, NWS forecast. Despite the cool morning, Wednesday was forecast to be the warmest of the work week.
Though air quality was much improved early Wednesday morning, more smoke from the Dolan Fire in Big Sur was expected to head toward Salinas and into the South Bay. Air quality in Santa Cruz County was forecast to be in the "good" and "moderate" ranges of the Air Quality Index for the week, AirNow forecast Wednesday.
