Greg Caput Won't Run For Re-Election As 4th District Supervisor
Former Watsonville council member Greg Caput announced he won't compete in the June primary for County Supervisor.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Santa Cruz County Supervisor Greg Caput won’t seek re-election in the upcoming June primary, The Pajaronian and Good Times Santa Cruz reported.
Caput, who has served for 12 years as a representative of Santa Cruz County’s 4th District, told Good Times Santa Cruz that “it’s just the right time” to retire, and he wants to spend more time with his family.
During his time representing Watsonville, the Pajaro Valley, and a large portion of South County, Caput tried many times unsuccessfully to push term limits. He also lobbied for Supervisor pay cuts.
