Watsonville Police arrested two suspects in connection to a shooting that killed 18-year-old Feliciano Martinez Perea.

WATSONVILLE, CA —Watsonville Police arrested two men suspected of killing an 18-year-old man in a shooting on April 2.

The department released this video Tuesday showing the suspects being taken into custody.

Erick DeHaro and Matthew Madriz, both 18 years old, were arrested on suspected murder charges, police said.

Police said two multi-agency operations Wednesday morning led to the arrests.

Feliciano Martinez Perea, 18, was killed outside of an apartment complex after two males followed and confronted him, leading to a brief fight before both males shot at Perea, police said.

A call to justice swept the city after hundreds of people rallied in support of Perea's family searching for answers. He was described as a gentle and private person.
