Join The Watsonville Academy

All applicants must be 21 years of age and must reside, or own a business in the City of Watsonville.

The City is proud to bring back the Watsonville Academy: An inside look at how your local government works! The goal for this free academy is to provide “understanding through education” and give the public an inside look at local government operations.

This is a nine-session academy starting on June 23, 2022 and concluding with a graduation ceremony on October 25, 2022 during a council meeting.

Participants will enjoy evenings learning about everything from water issues, public safety and city infrastructure through interactive presentations and tours from all City departments. Sessions will be every other Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will include dinner starting at 5:30 pm.

All applicants must be 21 years of age and must reside, or own a business in the City of Watsonville.
