Man Fatally Struck By Truck While Crossing Near Ramsay Park
The pedestrian was airlifted to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A man died Tuesday morning in Watsonville after a vehicle struck him as he was crossing the street, according to police. Around 6:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of a crash on Harkins Slough Road, near Ramsay Park.
At the scene, officers determined that a pickup truck struck a pedestrian as the pedestrian was crossing the street. The pedestrian was airlifted to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The cause of the crash remains under investigation and it does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a factor, police said.
