Man Shot, Injured In Watsonville
Police suspect that the shooting was gang-related, but have not confirmed that.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A 37-year-old man was shot and injured in Watsonville on Saturday when someone in a dark sedan confronted him in the area of an old train depot parking lot, according to police. At 4:59 p.m., officers responded to the report of a man who had been shot in the hand at Walker Street and West Lake Avenue, according to police.
When officers arrived, it appeared that the victim had suffered at least two gunshot wounds, one to the hand and another to the upper chest, police said. The victim was transported to a trauma center with injuries that
were not considered life-threatening, according to police. Police suspect that the shooting was gang-related, but have not confirmed that.
