Police Release Video Showing Possible Suspects Involved In Shooting

Police are asking for the public's help in finding two people they believe are involved in a shooting that killed an 18-year-old man.

WATSONVILLE, CA — New details have been released surrounding the shooting of an 18-year-old man in Watsonville on April 2.

The Watsonville Police Department shared this video showing the moments before the shooting at an apartment complex and the two suspects they believe were involved.

"Our investigation has revealed that two suspects followed and approached the victim as he walked through the courtyard of the complex," they said.

The video also shows the vehicle the two men got into after the shooting. Residents in the area with security cameras are asked to check their footage.

The shooting happened April 2 around 8:45 on the 100 block of Riverside Drive. Police reported April 4 that the 18-year-old victim died.
