San Ardo Water Now Safe To Drink, County Says
Tap water health advisories went into affect after heavy rain disrupted infrastructure earlier this month.

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — An order not to drink tap water in the unincorporated Monterey County community of San Ardo was lifted Monday morning, after testing by the Monterey County Health Department showed the water was safe to drink.
The do not drink order remains in place in the community of Pajaro for customers served by the Pajaro/Sunny Mesa Community Services District, according to the Monterey County Health Department.
The San Ardo Water District continues to need repairs to a wastewater treatment facility sustained during January's storms. The district is trucking raw wastewater to King City until repairs are made.
