Shots Fired at Quick Stop – No One Injured

An employee and a customer were inside the business at the time of the incident, police said.

Multiple shots were fired at the Quick Stop convenience store on Freedom Blvd. late Saturday night, though neither an employee nor a customer inside were injured in the incident, Watsonville Police said.

Police were called to the shooting at the Quick Stop at 21040 Freedom Blvd. just before midnight Saturday, according to Watsonville police Cpl. Monique Rangel. The store had been hit by one round and officers found multiple casings from a gun outside the shop.  

A Quick Stop employee and a customer were in the store at the time of the incident, Rangel said, and it did not appear that the the store was the intended target of the shooting.
