Victim Airlifted To Hospital After Watsonville Shooting
Police in Watsonville are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

WATSONVILLE - Police in Watsonville are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Officers responded at 9:13 p.m. to the 400 block of Beck Street on a report of shots fired.
Arriving officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the injury was life threatening, and the victim was airlifted to a trauma center.

The investigation revealed the victim was walking near the sidewalk on Beck Street when a black or dark gray Honda drove by, and someone inside the vehicle fired several shots at the victim, police said.
It is not known if the shooting was gang-related.
