Watsonville Men Arrested Following Stabbing

Police have arrested two men they say were involved in a stabbing Friday.

WATSONVILLE, CA - Two Watsonville men were arrested for suspicion of attempted murder Monday, police said.

The men were arrested following a stabbing on the 300 block of Clifford Avenue March 25, police said.

Police said they found Adrian Campos, 23, and Eric Pray, 39, hiding in the backyard of a nearby home following the stabbing. They were arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.

Officers responded to the area just before 6:00 p.m. Friday and found a 44-year-old Watsonville man who had been stabbed multiple times. Police said he was transported to the hospital with life-threatening wounds but was expected to recover.

Detectives believe this is an isolated incident.
