Watsonville Officer Finds Meth During Traffic Stop
A Watsonville police officer on patrol noticed a car driving without headlights. After a stop was made, meth was found in an unusual place.
WATSONVILLE - An officer on patrol in Watsonville stumbled on a cache of methamphetamine after stopping a car that didn’t have its headlights on.
According to the Watsonville PD Facebook page, Watsonville Officer Tol saw a vehicle driving at night with no headlights on and made a traffic stop.
During the course of the stop, Officer Tol searched the vehicle and discovered 10 bindles of methamphetamine hidden inside a USB device.

Police say other evidence of narcotics sales was also discovered during the investigation.
The unnamed driver was arrested for sales and transportation of a controlled substance, and booked into the Santa Cruz County jail.
