The co-captain of the varsity basketball team at Watsonville High maintains a GPA over 4.0.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

He is an honors student, has an over 4 pt GPA, a student athlete playing Basketball at Watsonviile High School JV and Varsity for 4 years. Team Co-Captain as a senior, had two great seasons as JR and Sr. Now running Track for Watsonville High School. He’s persevered despite some tough challenges faced during the pandemic. Maintained great commitment to athletics while maintaining his high GPA. Considering a career in medicine as he approaches his College career.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

He’s a good friend and strong leader to his team mates. He’s a helper in the classroom and appreciates his teachers, mentors, teams and high school
