Watsonville Will Be Home To $16M County Services Building
The building will be a place for all South County residents to access government services. Here's when it will open and where it will be.

WATSONVILLE, CA — The County of Santa Cruz announced Wednesday it had closed escrow on property in Watsonville for a 121,000-square-foot building to consolidate services for South County residents.
The property is located at 500 Westridge Drive and the future building will consolidate into one location the various services currently scattered in buildings throughout the South County. That plot is currently occupied by the West Marine Corporate Headquarters and sits along the Cabrillo Highway, near the Driscoll's and Applied Motion Products buildings.
It cost $16.4 million, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported.
