Woman, 30, Dies After Car Flips Multiple Times In Pajaro
A 30-year-old woman died after trying to pass a car and losing control, CHP said.
PAJARO, CA — A 30-year-old woman was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in unincorporated Monterey County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the collision was first reported at 12:47 p.m. on San Juan Road west of Allison Street in Pajaro. The driver was behind the wheel of a white 1994 Nissan Sentra traveling eastbound when they passed unsafely through a two-way turn and lost control.
The vehicle then flipped multiple times, struck a chain-link fence and ended up on top of an empty flatbed trailer, according to the CHP. The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was in the vehicle and no other motorists were injured.

Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors in the collision. The CHP reminds motorists to obey posted traffic signs.
