The thieves were armed with a knife, police said.
LOS ANGELES — A group of masked thieves stole over $200,000 in jewelry from a man who was checking a flat tire Monday in Woodland Hills, according to police and media reports.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the 21100 block of Ventura Boulevard, where three males traveling in an old black van stole the jewelry while armed with a knife and dressed all in black, including ski masks, police said.
The victim was Ali Sedaghat, a high-end jewelry designer who believes that he was followed and that the thieves slashed his tire, according to KTLA, which quoted an interview from RMG News.
