Coyote Attacks Toddler Outside Woodland Hills Home: Report
"I heard her screaming and crying...": A father was able to snatch his daughter away from a coyote after it tried to drag her away.
WOODLAND HILLS, CA — A family was rattled over the weekend after their young daughter was dragged away by a coyote on the sidewalk before her father saved her, according to multiple reports.
Security video published by several news stations showed the coyote dragging the girl by her leg.
"I heard her screaming and crying and I thought she fell down and I saw the coyote was there,” her father, Ariel Eliyahuo told KNBC.

Eliyahuo charged at the animal, causing it to drop the young girl. After grabbing his daughter, he threw a water bottle at the coyote, causing it to run away, video footage shows.
The girl was treated at a hospital for scratches and bites.
