Critical Fire Conditions In Colorado: Red Flag Warning Issued
High winds and low relative humidity are expected in many Colorado regions, weather officials warned.

COLORADO — High winds are expected to hit many Colorado regions again Friday afternoon, creating critical fire conditions, weather officials said.
A red flag warning will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Colorado's eastern plains, the National Weather Service said.
Northwest wind is expected to gust between 25 and 35 mph, but gusts could reach 55 mph, the agency said. Humidity could reach as low as 16 percent.

"Any fire that starts will have the potential to spread rapidly, and could be difficult if not impossible to control," the alert read.
"Avoid any and all outdoor activities that may produce a spark and start a fast moving and potentially destructive wildfire."
