Eat Pizzeria Locale to support Emily Griffith Technical College Culinary Quick Start Program

During the month of May, Pizzeria Locale will be serving up a special Carbonara pizza created in partnership with Alex Seidel of Fruition and Mercantile. To kick off the month-long menu feature, Pizzeria Locale will host a fundraiser on Wednesday, May 3, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Broadway location, to support the Emily Griffith Technical College’s Culinary Quick Start Program. This new program supports basic culinary training for underserved young people and adults so they can find work in the Denver restaurant and hospitality workforce. When customers dine at the 550 Broadway location and mention the fundraiser at the register, 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to help groom the next generation of chefs.
