Lauren Boebert's CO Eatery That Welcomed Armed Customers Closes
Shooters Grill, one of the few eateries in the country where patrons can order food with a Glock on their hip, has closed.
RIFLE, CO — Shooters grill, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert's pro-gun, Colorado eatery that gained notoriety for welcoming armed customers, has closed, according to a report.
The property's new owner, Milken Enterprises, told Boebert last month her lease would not be renewed, The Post Independent reported. The restaurant reportedly shuttered Sunday.
“We were like a family,” she said, according to the report. “I would say Shooters, for any employee, was their life. We lived and breathed it every single day. They were a part of this culture and brand that we created in Rifle, and there was a lot of pride with that.”

Boebert said the news was shocking. She called the landlord, but said they couldn't come to a compromise unless she bought the building.
She said she and her husband are praying and hope to keep the Shooters open at another building on Third Street in Rifle.

The news comes after Boebert, a Trump-backed, high-profile conservative from Silt, fended off challenger state Sen. Don Coram in Colorado's Republican primary.
