WELD COUNTY, CO — Drivers of a school bus and a semi suffered minor injuries after the two vehicles crashed in Weld County Tuesday morning, Mountain View Fire Rescue said. Officials originally reported students on the bus were injured, but they amended that report.
Dense fog may have contributed to the crash around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 66 and Weld County Road 13 east of Longmont.
The driver of the semi was able to crawl out of the cab to safety, authorities said.
