One Dead, Another Seriously Injured In Aurora Apartment Shooting

AURORA, CO — One is dead and another injured after being shot at an apartment complex overnight, the Aurora Police Department confirmed Friday.

Officers said they arrived on the scene in the 10700 block of Exposition Avenue at 12:35 a.m. Friday, where two men were found with gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to a local hospital, where one died, according to police.

The surviving victim is a 35-year-old man who is still receiving emergency treatment, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720.913.7867. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 and may remain anonymous.
