Woman injured in shooting at southwest Aurora parking lot dies, police say (denver7.com) — A woman has died after being shot Tuesday evening in a southwest Aurora parking lot near South Havana Street and East Mississippi Avenue, and police say the suspect is still at large. Homicide detectives are investigating and urge anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, while the coroner will release the victim’s identity after family notification.

Former Aurora council member hit with state wage judgment, thousands in fines (sentinelcolorado.com) — A former Aurora city council member is facing a state wage-theft judgment and steep penalties after Colorado labor officials cited her over an unresolved pay dispute with a former employee.
