Boulder County Coronavirus Update: New Cases, Vaccination Rates
Here's the latest news about vaccination rates in Boulder County, and a case breakdown by municipality.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past two weeks, more than 1,100 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.
As of Sunday, 21,069 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll has remained steady at 250 over the past two weeks.
More than 64,800 Boulder County residents — or 23 percent of the eligible population — are fully immunized, according to Boulder County Public Health. Around 110,000 residents — 40 percent of the county — have received at least one vaccine.

Around 706 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began, and more than 50 new hospitalizations were reported over the past two weeks. More than 463,600 tests have been conducted among county residents.

- Boulder: 406 new cases reported over past two weeks; 7,806 total cases
- Longmont: 246 new cases reported over past two weeks; 7,020 total cases
- Lafayette: 68 new cases reported over past two weeks; 1,669 total cases
- Unincorporated Boulder County: 93 new cases reported over past two weeks; 1,814 total cases
- Erie: 39 new cases reported over past two weeks; 533 total cases
- Louisville: 38 new cases reported over past two weeks; 923 total cases
- Superior: 32 new cases reported over past two weeks; 423 total cases

Between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, 1,133 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Colorado.
All Colorado residents ages 16 and older became eligible Friday to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
