Boulder Hiker Injured In 30-Foot Fall Off Bear Canyon Trail
Rescue crews found the hiker hanging onto a tree after she had fallen around 30 feet, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Crews rescued a 74-year-old Boulder woman after she fell 30 feet down an embankment from the Bear Canyon Trail, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
A Boulder ranger was the first to arrive and found the woman hanging onto a tree on the hillside, the office said.
The Rocky Mountain Rescue Group arrived and secured the woman with a rope to keep her from falling, before she was carried to safety and taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
