International Conference On Climate Action Comes To Boulder

The event is sold out, but you can still watch.

Boulder is hosting the fifth annual meeting of the Climate Neutral Cities Alliance this week in a five-day summit. Boulder is the smallest of the 22 member cities and this is the first time the meeting will be held on U.S. soil. Thursday night features a public town hall meeting co-hosted by the CNCA, the City of Boulder, and the University of Colorado-Boulder at eTown Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Although tickets are sold out, the event can still be viewed via livestream on the eTown website.

The CNCA is a collaboration of cities that have committed to lower their greenhouse gas emissions by 80 to 100 percent by 2050 – according to that organization, the most aggressive targets undertaken by any city, anywhere. The summit is an opportunity for members to share new approaches and ideas for greenhouse gas reductions as well as see examples of local innovations.
