Boulder Hosts Volunteer Beautification, Offers $300 Reimbursement
The city is making it fun and easy to beautify neighborhoods by running volunteer events and offering assistance to DIYers.
BOULDER, CO — "It’s time to get your hands dirty and help give beautiful Boulder a spring refresh during Community Cleanup," the city said in a release. Throughout May, hundreds of volunteers will be working some spring cleaning projects all around the city.
While the city is running its own beautification projects, they're also making it easier for communities to do it themselves.
"Community members are invited to recruit neighbors and design and implement a project that works with their schedules," the release says. The city will provide necessary tools like trash bags, latex gloves and some snacks.
