Boulder Woman Accuses Brett Kavanaugh Of Sexual Misconduct
Local woman the second to make an accusation against the Supreme Court nominee.

BOULDER, CO - Boulder's Deborah Ramirez has become the second woman to accuse Supreme Court nominee of sexual misconduct. The New Yorker broke the story of her accusation just hours after negotiators had reached an agreement to hold a public hearing Thursday for Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the judge's first accuser who alleges he sexually assaulted her at a party when they were teenagers. Kavanaugh has denied both claims.
Ramirez's accusation dates to the 1982-1983 school year when she and Kavanaugh were classmates at Yale University. She recalls a drunken dormitory party where Kavanaugh thrust his penis in her face, and that she touched it without her consent as she pushed him away. “Brett was laughing,” Ramirez told the New Yorker. “I can still see his face, and his hips coming forward, like when you pull up your pants.”
The New Yorker is working with eyewitnesses to confirm Kavanaugh's presence at the party. According to the Associated Press, ranking Judiciary Committee Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein has called for the “immediate postponement” of further action on Kavanaugh’s nomination.
