Car Chase Suspect Attempts To Flee On Foot
After a crash and on-foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended.

LONGMONT, CO - A 25-year-old man is behind bars after police say he fled officers and crashed. Suspect Kendan Lubovich was arrested and charged with vehicular eluding, trespassing, criminal mischief, traffic offenses, two outstanding warrants, and a canceled/denied driver’s license shortly before noon Thursday.
Lubovich eluded police after an attempted traffic stop, driving around Longmont until he hit a dead end in the 900 block of Meeker St., according to reports. He then crashed into a fence, causing his vehicle to become disabled, according to a report from the Boulder County Sheriff.
He was found after a search by Boulder County Sheriff's Office deputies and Longmont Police Department officers. Nearby Skyline High School went into lockout procedures as a safety precaution during the chase.

Ultimately, he was apprehended, taken into custody, and transported to the Boulder County jail.
Charges in the case are still pending.
