
BOULDER COUNTY, CO - The Multi Agency Fire Investigation Team is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a home on the Peak-to-Peak highway Monday afternoon. Dispatchers received a call about the blaze at 3:28 p.m., but by the time that county sheriff's deputies had arrived, the structure in the 47000 block of the highway was fully engulfed in flames.
According to the sheriff's office, no people or animals were home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.
Members of the Indian Peaks Fire Protection District, Nederland Fire Department, Allens Park Fire Protection District and the Boulder County Fire duty officer were all part of the response. The fire was fully extinguished.
